Yeah our good German friend Fred used to have a wee website called "Shot Of Rock" on which he would make available for download a couple of rare or unreleased Lizzy tracks a month.

Doing nobody any harm, a public service if anything else.
However the German authorities caught up with him and fined him several hundred euros. Threatened him with a further fine of thousands of euros if he continued!

At the time we had a Lizzy gig from New York, USA, 1978, up for free download but we pulled it in light of that.

Also, even though it was free we got a complaint that the gig was not a "soundboard" recording as we had wrongly labelled it. It's a stonking gig, we made it available free, what more do people want?

Whits that aw aboot?

All in all we decided it wasn't worth it to risk it so the download was pulled and the page has been embarrasingly blank ever since.

The gig is still available from your local dealer though. ;-)
