Dunno,as they said on the site it would be starting soon.

I think it would be great if we got the numbers to put him on that too.

That said, I think Philip would have been very pleased to see himself on this list, Bob Geldof might describe him "as the whitest black man he'd ever seen" but Philip seemed to feel more and more strongly about being black in his latter years and I think being voted onto this list is a vindication of him wanting to embrase both his Irish and Black cultures.

I only saw this on the channel 4 news last night (about the list and the winner) so I went looking for it today at work. I was chuffed for one, but who voted for Philip? There certainly was no lobby group on the go that I had heard of?

I think Philip got there on his own merits with regular (i.e. non Lizzy scene) people putting him where he deserves to be recognised as someone who made a significant contribution to mainsteam culture while he as alive and beyond.
