Great shame indeed. I just bought the Led Zep DVD and was totally blown away by the quality of the concert footage.
I've seen crappy copies of the material before, but to see it like this ...wow!!
This was Jimmy Pages own idea, and he is also very much behind the project. To clean up the Lizzy legal mess, then clean up the footage and bring it out to the public is to be my first priority when i win ten thousand billions in the lottery. It is a shame, really. Just think about a four side DVD with Lizzy in full blast. That would have been something.
Does anybody know if there is sound on the 8 mm film with Eric/Brian and Phil outdoors that is running on the Rocker documentary?
