The answer from Universal (prev. Decca/Polygram/Polydor) is that there is "a legal problem with the Lizzy material" Thats why we almost never see anything new. The only hope, the way I see it, is that a statue of Phil, together with the planned movie, will boost the interest for the band. What the Doors movie once did for that band is a great example. When there was money to be made, the problems were solved.
For now, Lizzy and Lynott are, from a business point of wiew, not big enough and that is a bloody shame.
