quote: Iraq is within range of Israel with it's ballistic missiles...

Yes, BUT... Saddam's crude, inaccurate SCUD missiles pale in comparison to North Korea's somewhat modern ballistic missiles, which can hit Tokyo or Seoul with relative precision.

quote: ...[which] maybe tipped with (if what we say is true) nuclear warheads.

I don't think either Bush or Blair has claimed that Iraq has nuclear warheads. What they have said is that Saddam is in the process of acquiring nuclear capabilities and that once he has obtained atomic weapons, he won't hesitate to exploit their monumental power to advance his evil ends.

quote: An attack on Iraq woud entail horrific casualties from many countries...

That's a matter of opinion.

quote: ...and could very well cause a major collapse of that particular region of the world.

That's very true. But when you say "major collapse", you're talking about violent anti-American protests and rebel uprisings , not mushroom clouds, radioactive fallout, and world economic implosion.

quote:Yet, no-one htinks twice about military action against Iraq.

3/4ths of Europeans do. In fact, they've already made up their minds.

quote: Why must we go to war with Iraq?

To prevent it from turning into a Middle Eastern North Korea.
