Okay, whats with the duct tape?

I know that it has a million & one uses, but now its a survival kit item?? (no, really, I DO know why the plastic & the duct tape.)

But WHY spare car keys?? I am just so confused by this latest list! Sounds like we have had a credible threat, but if its so credible why not be more specific?

We are to also expect more computer hacking, denial of service & such. No duh to that one!

Why spare car keys? I just can not figure that one out! No senerio I can envision gives me a reason for spare car keys! My closest guess is to keep them with the kit, so when its safe to go out, you have them handy?

But still...even that doesn't seem to fit, wouldn't they still be in your home...its not like the one room your in is going to be the only room left standing. And what, if while someone is sealed off in one room, someone is going to come in & take the keys...but not mess with the person in the sealed room?
