Hey,
So today you told Marty to let you go. But now, you are blaming yourself, and thinking he is unhappy because of you. And that will bring you back, and make you feel like changing everything about yourself so he doesn't have to deal with reality. So, tonight will be a recommittment to each other, and I will be pushed away in the morning. And I know this. And that is okay. And this time I will handle the devestation. And I will let you go. Because I can't hold you, I can't keep you. I can't make you feel the value in yourself, and the confidence in us to make it all okay. He will never let you go because you are the perfect wife ... you are. And you will never go because that would be a failure to you ... that would be you not working hard enough to make his world perfect. I hope he is scared enough to treat you like you should be treated. To love you, and hold you, and let you know how beautiful, intelligent, wise, desirable and magical you are. I hope he doesn't let that go. And I hope you can get lost in scrap books and birthday parties and accept that you are a great mother, and get happiness from that. Tomorrow, I fully expect you to let me go. To push me away to make a last ditch effort to save your marriage, that will work. Well, will work as well as any of the others, meaning you will be able to survive, and he will get a perfect world where he won't need to deal with real people and real problems, or talk about things the next day that bother someone. And I will always be here, watching you, loving you ... hoping you are happy, but knowing you are not ... knowing you are just ok. But ILY, and won't try to sway your course. It is okay sunshine. EWABO.
