The bible calls him "the god of this system of things." Satan is allowed to deceive mankind. Folks that are "not" blinded by Satan will choose to follow God's standards. Those that choose to follow Satan will end up having the same outcome as Satan; destruction. It isn't that God chooses a certain amount of people to receive him or follow him. People make the choice for themselves. 2 Cor. 4:4 & 1 Cor. 10:20. Satan is the ruler of this world, and has a limited amount of time to influence mankind. Our creator is giving mankind time to make the decision to serve him or serve Satan. It's really up to us. 2 Peter 3:9: "God is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you, because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance."
