bottomline advice to anyone buying a car from a former car salesman, if you buy anything other than a honda or toyota, and even if you do buy a honda or toyota, ALWAYS buy the extra miles/warranty package from the manufacturer. it is the cheapest piece of mind regardless. AVOID kia, hyundai, and mitsubishi like the black plague. do your homework, look at reliability and resale values. people trading hondas to buy another honda are the easiest deal in the world. usually have great equity to place toward next car. a real no-brainer.NEGOTIATE FROM THE TIME YOU ENTER THE DEALERSHIP UNTIL YOU GET HOME FROM THE DEALERSHIP. ALWAYS HAVE BACK-UP FINANCING SET-UP, AND HAVE A GOOD IDEA FROM A SOURCE OTHER THAN A BANK ABOUT YOUR CARS ACTUAL TRADE VALUE,i.e. ITS WHOLESALE VALUE, BE REALISTIC
