Subject: 2001 Kia Sportage

I bought a used 2001 Sportage and let me tell you I have had to take it in 1 a monthe for the last 6 months. I had an older model and never had a problem. I know I bought a used car but it was from a dealership and they should have atleast done a once over before they sold it. Now I am finding out that they may not have. Of course, the maintaince records only go back to the date I purchased the car so they do not know if it had any problems previously. I am started to get a little(actually a lot) frustrated because the maintenance department will only tell me they do not know if a 30000 mile service was done cause the dealership was owned by someone else (I have not even had the veh a year yet). Who cares if the delership was owned by someone else. I still bought it from them and they should know something. Don't you think? Is anyone else having these tye of problems. It is never the same problem twice when it is taken in and thank goodness I got the extended warranty.
