Subject: 2005 Optima still sucks!

Kia may have gotten better in recent years, but they are still pieces of crap! I just bought a new optima and it has been back to the dealer seven times for a variety of things, none of which have been minor. First it was a the passenger side door-the rubber gasket started to fall off and the door would not shut, then a sensor that caused the car to stall out when my family and I were on a trip 1000 mls from home, then another sensor in the transmittion, then two weeks later the ENTIRE transmittion was replaced on a new car!!! When we got home my husband saw that there was a piece of the undercarriage that was not put back correctly and was dragging on the ground- Back to Kia. Shortly after that we lost our ac- the air compessor was bad and had to be replaced! I have to take it in AGAIN on Tues becouse there is a strong vibration, wonder what in the world it could be this time!?!? People on this forum have a valid complaint- Yes they have a warranty to cover all this crap that should NEVER happen on a NEW vehicle, but you still waste your time and money to go to the dealer or if you happen to break down while your on your family vacation! If I had it to do over I would never have bought a Kia and Believe me I will NEVER buy another one in my lifetime.
