Subject: Rio Timing Belt Blows Engine

2003 Kia Rio Timing Belt destroys engine at 62k.
What person in their right mind changes a timing belt on a new car at 60k??? I have had Nissans and Toyotas that ran for 200k plus with the original timing belt. Kia is taking advatage of customers by requiring this as hidden warranty killer in the manual. Even the salesman stated 'You dont have to touch it for 100k'. Kia products SUCK and they are exactly what you may expect - SHIT - You get what you pay for... Should've bought a Nissan, or even a Pinto might have been better! Kia's warranty isnt worth the paper it was printed on!!!
