Sorry to hear about your sister! Are you aware that Kia makes the Hyundai? Both vehicles roll off of the same line in the factory, some parts are even interchangeable. When I was researching problems of the Kia's - One of the serious problems Kia had was locking up in the front end and when you were going into a turn, the damn Kia would keep going straight. This is just of of the reasons I got rid of my Kia and probably why I'm still alive. I told them bastards at Kia that when they screwed me, I was going to to them a favor....Tell everybody I could about their piece of shit! Now I can't make everyone a believer by telling them, so some of the hard heads will just have to find out on their own the hard way - and it's going to cost them, and I hope it's not with their life or someone else's. Back when I was researching my information on Kia's, you could find documented case history's of Kia problems either by year or by model. But someone has removed all of the information from the public and I suspect Kia Motors and our wonderful government is behind that. You will have to search all the Kia forums and posts to find your information now, and I wish you luck.
