My 2000 KIA sportage was hit in the driver side in the back end. And the seat belt came unbuckled and I ended up in the back seat. And the air bags never opened up. And I still owe $3,400.00 on it. And it is totaled.
The saftey equipment should have worked better, because of this my husban was hurt badly and so the passanger was thrown from the car and has broken ribs. The seat belts didn't hold them in. So in my opion the door are not safe either.
