Just and FYI, Hyundai and Kia are now the same company. That means, what is in a Kia should be the same as what is in a Hyundai (Amanti = XG350; Optima = Sonata; and the list goes on). Although Kia has gotten better over the years, they still have a long way to go. In the here and now, I personally recommend neither Kia nor Hyundai!

For now, Kia and Hyundai reminds me of the way Toyota, Honda and Nissan (then Datsun) were like back in the 1970s, when they were just beginning to get in the American auto market. They sold cars that were very cheap, but completely unreliable. Those cars broke down and fell apart just like the way Kias are today.

Today, the Japanese auto makers not only make better and reliable cars, at times, they happen to cost more than a Cadillac! As for Kia and Hyundai, well, they still have a long way to go ... and if they do not improve -- you're right that the company should be destroyed!
