Subject: 2006.5 Optima transmission problem

At 35K miles my Transmission remains stuck between Manual shifting and Automatic unless I drop it into neutral, thus it's stuck inbetween Manual and Automatic once you use the manual. It's one of the two sensors that cost over $200 each. Now at 41K miles the brake pads have an extended EXTRA guide, that looks like a spring load crimped on the pad. It is running into the disk with 8,900 miles left on the thickness, so I ground it off. Talk about pay more replace early, these pads cost $79. The right side pads unevenly wore out because that EXTRA guide jammed it pinching exactly that side of the pad wearing out fastest. Plus, the rotor is most rough there on that one pad. Change your KIA = Krap in America to Korean inept autos. Oh yah, the high pressure side of the power streering hose leaked and cost $261 like as if it were made of stainless steel and it leaked right where the hose is pressed by the metal.
