Dan-boy, I almost gave up on you. Perhaps even without the "almost". Or even without the "perhaps". But you know, it's really good to hear that you're happy -- in your own outlandish kind of way. :-) You brought a broad smile to my face, almost full circle if it weren't for the ears. I mean now that you've refound your interest in things like me (judging from your sixth paragraph) you're definitely on the right path. And I'm a strutting rooster with a triumphant crow.

I'm heading back to depressing East coast tomorrow, maybe that'll make me come here moreoften, too. But no promises, there are just too many corners to walk around. One more month before the stressy Fall starts. I gotta find me a pool, - I became kind of addicted to swimming here during the past weeks. A beautiful "aquatic center" is right on the way from the lab to the monks. It's funny, having grown up surrounded by dozens of lakes I thought I'd be not too bad, but with all them Canadian athletes I'm constantly being passed even in the "recreational" lane. And I'm not even smiling anymore! I'm telling this to show that I have important things to mull over, too.
