Well, as long as you are pondering whom you wanted to ask I might tell you that it depends on whom I bite and why. If its naughty children and people who need to be rescued - even from themselves - I tend to bite them in the back of their neck, just as cats do. For all other purposes of biting I usually improvise and just go with the moment.

As for our prickly friend, I think he is a victim of gay conversion of some kind. I did a little reading into that yesterday and found that he uses exactly the same somewhat reduced vocabulary. His is definitely not a garden variety depression.

In psychosomatic disorders there often is kind of a "Krankheitsgewinn", a gain from illness for the ill person. There is something in depression though I would not call it joy, at least not for the kind of depression I have. It's more kind of a relief or a break from everyday stress. I can cease to function flawlessly without feeling guilty. It works only in a very narrow border and it is very easy to step into the dark zone.

Sal, stop complaining about your flannels and towels. We all perfectly know that you bought them on purpose because you thought in that bluish fluff you would look as cute and cuddly as on those portraits of you I plastered all over the Internet. But you know, there always is a difference between stylish make-up and image processing on the one side and real life on the other.

Another hug and bite,
Alie
