Mike,

I, too, was fortunate enough to see the show at the Filmore--quite a remarkable coincidence since I live in N.C. but happened to be in SF for a conference. The Rats were the all-time favorite of my youth, though I never saw them (or Bob) live before Sunday. I had forgotten how much music used to mean to me until I saw the show. It rekindled some of the passion I used to have for music, and I can't stop playing my "Great Songs of Indifference" compilation that I bought on Monday.
I was blown away by how much energy Bob and the band put into the show. My only regret was that I had to return to my small town before finding the show in another venue. I will never forget that show. Two more regrets--no "Diamond Smiles" and the sparse turnout. I wish the word had gotten out about how good the show was; I'm sure no one left disappointed, but I'd bet that low ticket sales may make another tour unlikely.

Regards,
Chris
