You know its Christmas,
When stores get crowded,
You know its Easter,
When eggs get colored,
You know its Halloween,
When some things SCARE you,
You know its Valentines Day,
When someone wants to kiss you,
You know its Thanksgiving,
When the turkey smells good,
You know its Hanukah,
When the menorah is shining bright,
You know its New Years,
When you stay up all night,
You know its April Fools,
When people fool you,
You know its Mothers & Fathers day,
When your parents get gifts,
You know its grandparents day,
When they smoosh your lips,
You know its me,
Just plain old me,
When this poem is done this year!
