Michael Steele's antics have turned off a whole bunch of donors and then last week, Tony Perkins stated on the record that he advised evangelicals not to donate to the RNC but instead contribute to individual candidates whose views mirror their own.

I predicted a long time ago that there would be a price to be paid by Republicans uniformly sitting back and saying no to everything Obama proposed. At a time when the nation has been in crisis, trying to claw its way out of a deep recession, they're being seen as as non cooperative in solutions. Everyone gets a clear picture of what they oppose but what are they for?

For Tom Coburn to put a hold on unemployment checks for over 200,000 people who desperately need them is uncomprehensable and is going to have repurcussion. It only adds to the disdain of all things Republican. There only goal is to unseat Obama, puttin party politics above national interest. Doubt me? What are the poll ratings of Dems vs. Republicans in congress? They're beeing seen as supporting and protecting the insurance industry and the bankers who got us into this mess. Think that's going to fly with the public? I can't think of two more hated institutions right now.
