E.0. Note that "Lair of the White Worm" is one of the few contemporary British films to talk about the class structure, that existed at that time in the U.K.
E.1. Note all the insignia that is worn in the film. Lord James (Grant) wears the insignia of an officer in the RAF. Both Lady Sylvia (Donohoe) and Eve (Oxenberg) wear the insignia of a flight attendant. Erny (Brooke) wears the insignia of a police constable. Kevin (Pitt) wears the insignia of a scout or boy scout. And Angus (Capaldi) wears the insignia of a Scotsman.
E.2. Neither the bust nor the coinage in the film correctly represent what the "Rebel Roman Emperor" looked like, even though coinage, with his portrait on it, still exists.
E.3. Note how modern is the phone system (speaker phone, cell phone, etc.) at D'Ampton Manor vs. the primitive phone system (rotary phone only) at Mercy Farm.
F.0. Note the sword on the fireplace mantle at D'Ampton Manor. It is a two-handed landesknecht sword. One of the longest, non-ceremonial swords ever made. And if it is the sword used by his ancestor to slay the white wyrm/worm/snake, then there is a nit. It is called a two-handed sword, because it requires two hands to use. but a horseman, Lord James' ancestor depicted in the painting, would have only one hand free to wield a sword, as the other hand would be used to control the reins of the horse.
F.1. Notice the difference in mantle ornaments in Lady Sylva's Temple House and Lord James' D'Ampton Manor. Lord James' has a sword on his mantle, while Lady Sylvia has a strap-on on her mantle. Of course, there are some people who would say there is little or no difference between a sword and a strap-on.
F.2. Note that when Erny drives Mary (Davis) to Temple House, there appears to be a Y-intersection along the road, they take. Which intersection does not appear when Lady Sylvia drives Kevin (Pitt) along the same route.
F.3. Note that it is the women in the film who have the hair on their chests. Or at least their legs, Eve, and under their arms, Lady Sylvia. It is the men and boys--Lord James, Kevin, and Christ (Peters) who have hairless chests.
