G.0. That if that had been a real snake in the film, it would have been a record breaker. It would have set a record for length, weight, and the speed at which it moved.
G.1. Celtic blue. Lady Sylvia (our Amanda) painted her body blue, because the ancient Celts painted their bodies blue.
G.2. That is an unusual toxic gas pumped into Stone Rigg cavern. It supposedly kills large animals, but it only makes humans cough.
G.3. When we see Lord James (Grant) drive up to Stone Rigg Cavern, he drives up in a Land Rover, but when we see him drive back from the cavern, he drives back in a Morgan.
H.0. Each of the deaths in the film is due to a different cause. Christ died on the cross. Kevin was drowned. Eve was impaled. Mary was stabbed to death. Peters died in a fall. Dorothy was cut in half. Erny struck his head. And Lady Sylvia was swallowed.
H.1. Note how realistically--at least the male characters--are portrayed. While their characters may be exaggerated to some extent, both for comedic and dramatic purposes: the local poobah, Lord James; the alcoholic butler, Peters; the country copper, Erny; the innocent and naive scout, Kevin; and even the visiting archaeologist, Agnus, all have their counterparts in the U.K.
H.2. Eve (Oxenberg) may be wearing a bra in that one scene, but note how diaphaneous it is. You can see her nipples through it.
H.3. Note the military insignia on Lord James' uniform. Apparently, it portrays him as a flight lieutenant in the paratroop corp of the Royal Air Force (RAF.) Which is interesting, because that is one of the toughest military units in the world.
