We know and presume that the film "Lair of the White Worm" occurs sometime in March, 1988, but, we can narrow it down more then that.

Knowing
From the size of the haversack that Kevin (Pitt) was carrying in the film, the hike was longer then a day hike.
And . . .

Presuming
He was in school at that time of the year, it would be something less then a week hike. So . . .

We can know and presume the hike took place over a weekend in March, so the film must have occurred--supposedly--over one of the four weekends in March for that year.
