"It what every viewer wants from a horror film to be titiliated and frightened." You got that right in spades, and "Lair of the White Worm" delivers. As for the cult, that is fictious, but, the "Rebel Roman Emperor," he really existed. Let me go through what information I have and see what I can find, which I will post at this message board under the title "Rebel Roman Emperor." We do know that he does not look like the bust that can be glimpsed in Temple House, as that is apparently a bust of Augustus Caesar.
