Welcome back, Laura. It's good to hear from you again. I don't know whether you have heard, but some of us fans of Amanda are getting together in London, October 22 - 24, to eelebrate her portrayal of Lady Sylvia Marsh in "Lair of the White Worm." Come down and join us, if you can.

I would love to join you cause it sound's so much fun, sadly though i can't :( i have used up all my holiday day's this year. maybe next year!!

As for the rest, I don't find Amanda boring, I actually find her intimidating, as in "INTIMIDATING." You know she has admitted, she was sexually abused as a child, which we will go into greater detail some time later. What does being a lesbian have to do with getting film roles, especially when I heard that she was bisexual. I would like to know what she has said about violence in movies, as I hadn't heard that one before, especially, when she has been in some of the most violent films I know, "Hooded Angels" and "Lair of the White Worm" in particular.

I didn't mean movie roles for Lesbians i ment Lesbians was a topic she alway's talked about in interviews!! mainly thanks to the interviwer.

About the violence, she say's that hollywood movies are "So filled with violence" and that as a nation we are being desensitised to it. but i agree with you she has been in in so many violent movies herself it's hard to really know what her own opinion is. i get the feeling sometimes she say's thing's that we want to hear rather than what she really want's to say. Take the bisexual thing for an example, she is such a huge lesbian icon that maybe saying she's bisexual so as not to offend her bisexual and lesbian fan's. i remeber years ago reading an interview with her where she refused to revile her sexual orintation because she thought doing so would lessen those of the other orintation, make one better than the other.

This is not to disparage Jon, I have read his interview with Amber, and I think it is great, but isome nterviewers do have a habit, not only with Amanda, but with most interviewees, of glomming onto a subject and never letting go. How long ago has the relationship with Adam Ant been over, but interviewers are still asking about it. What I'd like to hear was the plate-throwing relationship she had with Nick Broomfield, with our Amanda doing most of the plate-throwing.

Plate throwing really!! i didn't know that lol mind you if it's true about nick Broomfields other woman then i would have thrown a few plates too!! as much as i love his work, i can't look at him the same way anymore.

As I said, it is good to hear from you Laura, and we hope to hear from you again.

Aww thanks Kev, i plan to come around more often, i miss you lot :)
