A film that is too busy by half. Too much is going on. Too clever by half. It's not as smart as it thinks it is. Our Amanda is not given enough screen time, though, I think she turns in one of the best performances in the film.
Did anybody else besides me, guess the password?
Did anybody besides myself, see that ending coming?
Finally, I know what they mean when they say a film has to be likable to be likable. There was not one likable character in that film, not even our Amanda.
And not to give to much away, but, for good reason, actors ask for a good death scene in a film, Besides "Lair of the White Worm," has Amanda's character ever died in any of the performances she has given on stage, on television, and in films?
