"A commercial for Marks and Spencer's . . ."
Well, Jon, you saw something more of us here in the U.S. never got to see.
" , , , so we don't have a proper dinner before the show. We figure we can eat at intermission or after."
Jon, Jon, Jon. As a seasoned world traveler, you know one eats when one can, because one doesn't know when one will get another chance to eat.
"The woman asks my wife, if she know where Piccadilly is, and she says: 'I think it's 8 blocks that way.'"
Jon, I presume that you and your wife have not had that many dealings with people like that, but, unfortunately, your wife did almost the worst thing she could do. She made contact with the woman, which might have set the woman off. When dealing with that "type" of person, often the best thing to do is not to make contact with them. Don't speak to them. Don't approach them. Don't even make eye contact with them. And, especially, don't touch them.
Until next week and "Page 3" . . . Enjoy!
