Well my artistic ability is extremly limited so i disregarded the buttons poeple had made me from the old page and used table cellspacing with a black background to give the illusion of a button. The only workable link is the Discussion forum link. Im working on the News Archieve link presently.
For colors I like gold/red, dakr blue/silver, red/ yellow equally. As long as the colors match/contrast.
