All right folks, here it is, the official Drake's Opinion.
Get a soda, get some munchies, sit down, get comfrotable. You have a lot of MANDATORY reading ahead, why is it mandatory? Becuase I said so :P and you owe me that much anwyays :)

SAFE HAVEN


I am going to start off with ranks, and their descriptions, general duties, and obligations.

Council-There are 3 council members, voted in. They are there untill they leave, or are voted out. The figure head of the clan, the council member has many duties. He/She is in the ultimate control of the webpage. He/She regulates which laws are put into place, and which aren't. They offer support and advice to the housemasters, and housemembers whenever it is needed. They also regulate the fragile balance between houses, to make sure that no one house, ends up running the clan. The council member is a very important role in this clan. He/She is the key that holds the clan together. He/She should be popular with all the members, and should be able to perfrom his/her duties. The council members emphasis however, is to have fun with the members. Make them feel important, attache themselves to REC's and such, and basically be political leaders. They will work together, to make this Clan as great as it can be.

HouseMaster-The HouseMaster is voted in during the creation of the clan, after which point, all house matters, are resovled within the house, without interference from other houses, or the council. They may generate rules for their own house, as long as they obide by the origial rules set by the council. The HouseMaster, or HM for short, has many duties and obligations. He is actually running a clan, within a clan. It is his/her obligation, to create a ranking system for his/her house and to keep it updated on the webpage. Should the HM have insuffecient knowledge of webpage building, this responcibilty can be delegated to another member of the house. However, only the HM may have the password to the site, unless the council gives aproval to the housemember in question. It is the HM's job to recruit into his house. He/She should have a wide variety of REC's to choose from. He/She will watch the REC during the evaluation period, and decide, whether or not that REC is right for their house. Just to make your house bigger, is not a good reason to get a REC to join it. This responcibilty may also be delegated to a housemember, but the council's approval is not nessecary. However informing them of the delegation is. The HM has total authority over his/her house, unless he/she decides to have a differnt form of government inside it's walls. No House, has authority over another house, over the webpage, or over the Council, however, all HM's combined, may overthrow a council member(s). The HM's role is very important, He/She is the workforce behind the clan, keeping it updated, and most importantly, fun. They promote "freindly wars" between other houses, and encourage growth and compitition. They are also a Leader, and should act as one, if a rule set by the house is broken, the HM will deal with the matter accordingly to his rules. He can not kick a member out of the clan, but can reduce him to a REC status, kicking him/her out of the house. It is up to the HM whether or not that member can return into the house at a later date. HouseMasters should be respected members of the clan, and need only be popular within his/her house. However it is advised, that they cooperate with other HM's, to help make this clan the best it can be.

Hall Master-The Hall Master is an optional role, that will only be decided upon the actuall buying of a Clan Hall. The Hall Master, is the only one, that can access the Hall. He is commanded by the Council, who to let in, or keep out of the hall, and what to keep in the hall. Untill further information can be obtained about the clan hall's, not much further can be said about this role. He will be afforded the same respect as an HM, but will only have authority over the Clan Hall.

HouseMembers-The HouseMember is the backbone of SH. They are the body and soul of this clan, and should all treat eachother with respect, and as freindly as possible. Even though only their particular HM has total authority over them, All HM's should be afforded respect, and authority, as s gesture of kindness. It's a good bet that the HM your talking to, and your HM, are good freinds. It is your job to attend meetings whenever possible.(If you hafto go do something IRL, then it is not possible for you to go to the meeting. If Phule ever finds out you came to a meeting, missing something even slightly important, he will do many bad things to you.) It is also their responcibilty to obey the rules set forth by the council, and their HM. Most importantly however, they are obligated, to have fun.

Recruits-Recruits, or REC's for short will be the newest members of the clan. They do not belong to any house, but from the day they join, they have one week to look into each house, and decide which one he would like to apply to. The Recruit first must go through an extensive recruiting process designed at a later date. The REC has NO auhtority over anything, except they can decide which house they wish to apply to. They will be shown respect however, and should be the member that gets the play in ALL the games. They are to be made welcome in this clan. That REC, may one day be your leader, so treat them with respect.

These are the basic ranks for the entire clan, different ranks will be deiced by each individual HM for his/her house.

Webpage-The Webpage is the archive of the clan. It is an important place, where members should be able to go to, and learn the clan's history, the latest news in whats hot, check if he's got some new medals, and be able to cast his vote or opions on something that will effect the whole clan. The page is one of the first thing a REC will see, and should be a very professional, well made webpage, updated often, using the latest echnology available, to make it as exciting as possible. It is the job of the HM to make all updates to thier clan page, and the job of the council, or any delegated members, to keep the page up, and looking good.

MeetingsMeetings will be held at a date to be determined at a later date. They will be teh responcility of teh Council. They will be orderly meetings, that will discuss anything that is brought up, no major clan desicions will be made this way however. All major clan decisions will be made via the webpage on a voting system. After each meeting, a social event, such as a tournament, or tourny for short, will be held. The tourny will be the Council members responcibility, and the council should discuss it with the HM's.

Conduct in the Clan-We are called Safe Haven for a reason. Thats what we are, a Safe Haven. ALL members will treat eachother with respect. They will also treat other players in the Battle.net community respect. No straight out disrespect will be tolerated. We understand the importance of a good joke, and small rivalry's, however, they should all be in a freindly manner. If the council feels any member is acting in a way that is agaisnt SH's beliefs that member will be dealt with accordingly. Most importantly though, Have fun, but not at the expense of others, they are here to have fun too.

Umm, ok, I've coverd Ranks, The Webpage, Meetings, Clan Conduct, what else? This is my general Idea of how the clan should be run. I think it is a very wise way to do things, and a very effecient way to do them also. It meshes the belifes of SH members together, to try and come up with the biggest comprimise that I can. I am not the leader, and I am not imposing my will that the clan be this way, however, I strongly suggest that we start with this, and make changes later, if needed. So we can have a system we know that works, and works well, and then improve upon it, when we can actually see the results of those changes. For now, I've written a whole crapload, and I'm getting tired, I want people to read this and to respond. No bashing of other members is allowed. I want opinons of why your idea should be in place, not why his/her idea should not be. Understand?
