Well, that was a rather unclear, but yea....at first, they had a real efficient means by which to set up the keyboard. The problem was, people could type so fast that the hammers on the typewriters would get stuck, broken, or what have ya...so they intentionall designed the QWERTY keyboard to be inefficient.

Actually I know several people here who use the other one and I tell ya...once they learn it, they can FLY on that keyboard....yeesh.
