Subject: Ok, a re-cap on recent events....

I'm kinda pissed at the MPlayer people at the moment. For once I actually get a good connection. Then I lose it and it takes me about 10 minutes to get back. And this game I was waitin' to join...too late.

I'll tell ya....I don't like competitive play, and I don't like it when you spend more time trying to find a game than you spend actually playing. Tseng, Thrax...I hope you're happy with all the grief and annoyance NC is causing me.

As for SH...the way things are turnin' out is that we're not even gonna have Drake. I suppose that makes me the supreme leader, or what have ya.

Now, not only is it impractical to run a council...it's really not possible. We simply don't have the manpower of the right quality. Perhaps in time, when we gain in numbers and leadership abilities we can re-institute the council idea, but for now we're gonna have to be a one-leader show, and you should all flee in terror because...I am that one. :-P

As for Diablo 2, the fansite of the month interview revealed that Bill Roper, the games' lead designer said that the beta "will begin soon"

The beta shouldn't last more than a few monthes. The only thing they report to still really need work is the game balance. If you recall, Diablo 1 wasn't really balanced at all. A low level Warrior could smack low level Rogues and Sorcerors, a high level Sorceror could smack anything except Soul Burners, and a Rogue was more or less screwed through the entire game.

It looks like Diablo2 is gonna be a little more balanced. Yay!
