For the record, leading a clan isn't exactly the funnest thing. I will be delegating responcibilities to those I think can handle them. If I think running the clan is taking too much of my time, I will step down, yadda yadda yadaa...

Otherwise, nothing is changed....we'll have houses and the housemaster system, because it helps recruiting and promotes game playing.

The clan tags will be the same as they were before. My tags will be the old council tags, unless I change my mind.

Otherwise, the housemasters who I will appoint (with the general consensus of those present) can pick whichever ones they like for thier houses, as well as thier house name, which I need to approve of. That's just a safeguard in case someone happens to be drunk at the time and wants to name thier house something obscene. ;-)

In reality, I'm not gonna do much more than award medals, maintain the webpage (which I will begin work on shortly) and award medals, and so on.

Now that that's settled, we need to seriously start work. The game is largely completed. Right now they're working mainly on play balance, tweaking the corners, etc. In addition, Blizzard has people working around the clock to bring battle.net servers up to par. Hopefully when Diablo 2 goes up, Battle.net will be nice to us all, even Tseng. :-)

The beta is said to begin in just a few weeks, I'll let you all know. I would just love it if one of us were on the beta, and could fill us in as the game develops in the final stages.

So try to sign up for it when that happens. Don't worry about any criteria, despite the lengthy form Blizzard will have, they always choose thier beta testers randomly. The information is to help Blizz coalate the data once the testers are chosen.

War2:BNE is said to be out sometime in September. I plan to open up War2 to the clan. I don't expect it to be a big part of the clan, but I do want people playing it. In my opinion, Warcraft 2 is every bit as good a game as Starcraft, and all the really big gamers like War2 even more than Starcraft.
