What you're talking about is maturity, not age. The two aren't neccesarily one and the same. I live with about 50 guys, ages 18-20. I wouldn't want a single one of them in the clan. Each of them re-defines the term "immature". ON the other hand, we do have lots of younger members in the clan. As a point of interest, it was the younger members who stayed behind SH. All the old people were the ones to leave, with few exceptions.

Also, the majority of the people on battle.net are Koreans. They out-number American's on battle.net by 8.5 to 1. I don't know why, I really have no clue, but that number comes from Blizzard themselves, and I've heard similar reports from a number of other sources. (Mainly just the popular gaming sites, but that doesn't sound as cool)

As for my resignation, it may turn out to have been a little premature. I wont have time to be council leader, but I'll certianly be able to act as an advisor or something...

As for BrimStone, well...I think ya should stick with the name Safe Haven, just 'cause..well, we've been referring to ourselves as Safe Haven for so long now...kinda makes sence, that and the fact that we still have some artwork specifically designed for "Safe Haven" and, seeing how short in supply of artwork we are.... But that's just a personal preferance. And, please forgive me...but "BrimStone?"

As for you're skill in running clans...ok fine. I don't debate that. You're lucky in that the clan is still forming, so you'll likely end up on the council. If the clan were already goin' full steam, though...you'd be a REC. You're skill and experience means that you'd climb the ranks in no time flat, but we really can't afford to make exceptions in these things, or the aforementioned 12-year olds (and we WILL have 12-year olds in the clan, regardless of any "age" rule you attempt to enforce) will say something to the effect "HE GOT TO BECOME LEADER WHY NOT ME." And they certainly aint gonna buy the line "But he's good at the job."

I say we just enforce Phule's rule #2: Don't be an asshole.

That works, doesn't it? As soon as someone starts acting immature/childish, or what have ya...tell 'em that we're not up to dealing with that in the clan. They will respond in one of two ways; a) They'll say "sorry" and attempt to adjust thier behavior, in which case, problem solved, or b) They'll accuse us of trying to regulate how people think, attempting to create a communist community (The fact that you're name is "Marx" doesn't really help in that regard, but hey...) and make a big issue out of it, which does little other than illustrate the point that they're immature.
