I believe that business was handled just as effeciently without email before email was available. I feel that society needs to slow back down some and give everyone a chance to think. I don't think we would have as much misunderstanding or this mentality that we just have to get things done now or our whole lives or our businesses will go to pot. Because of the technology boom people, believe it or not, is not being able to have more time with their families because employers or owners have the mentality more needs to be done because of being able to do things more quickly.

I have however sent two formal letters through the email once to staff at Park University. I did not get anything formal back but I'm sure if I sent it through snail mail I would have received something back. It would have made me feel better as well.

I do believe that there should be etiquette online ready and available when you pull up the email. Then maybe one would be more inclined to think about what it is they are sending.
