My most frustrating e-mails:

1) One used to convey a job assignment but was missing key information. 2) Previous workplace: Spiritually based e-mails that conclude by threatening your demise if you fail to forward the message to others. 3) Previous workplace: being bombarded with e-mails containing profanity, smut, jokes and gossip. Remedies: 1) Proofread before sending and following the recommendations in Chapter 2, Make Responding Easy. 2 and 3) Chapter 1, E-mail Etiquette and Politics.
