Subject: Important Announcement About M.H.P.C.

Hello Buddies,

During the last few weeks many things have been happening behind-the-scenes of M.H.P.C. With the resignation of Von as Chief Nut, the Caretaker Panel has discovered just how much she was actually doing behind the scenes that none of us were aware of and it was phenomenal! We want to extend huge Kudos and an immense appreciation to her for all the work she was doing and believe us, it boggles the mind to realize one person was doing all that. In addition, during the last few days we have had some of our Caretakers fall ill or have family problems that require an extended leave of absence or resignation from their Caretaker duties. While we wholeheartedly approve of this and wish them a speedy recovery and resolution, it has left us extremely shorthanded for the behind-the-scenes duties that keep M.H.P.C. running smoothly. With this in mind we have given a great deal of thought to how we can scale down those duties without destroying the warm, fun and nutty atmosphere of M.H.P.C. that we all have come to enjoy. The following changes will be made effective immediately:

1. We will no longer have the Bitz~O~Nutz Board - we have decided that we will go back to making all announcements on the Acorn Board (which we were doing in addition to the B~O~N Board anyway). Hopefully, this will bring more of our "silent" members out so that we can visit with them.

2. We will no longer have the Fortune City clone site....all servers go down once in a while and aside from the last couple of days *grin* the b0x site has been pretty reliable. We found it is very time consuming and often times confusing to have both sites. We will always try to keep you informed when the b0x site is down, the reason for it and when it will be back up.

3. We will no longer have a Monthly Newsletter. The news will be incorporated into the Oak Leaves (see below).

4. We will make the Oak Leaves our official Newsletter and it will be published bi-monthly on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. It will give a recap of what has happened at M.H.P.C. during the previous 2 weeks and what will be coming up in the following 2 weeks. It will continue to let you know upcoming birthdays and anniversaries. We will also go back to publishing any announcements that our members wish us to put in it. These announcements will, however, have to be sent through the mhpcnuts@hotmail.com email. We will try to collect them from the Acorn Board as well, but some could get missed. If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see in the Oak Leaves, please feel free to email them to us. This is your newsletter and we want it to reflect what you would like to see.

5. We will be doing away with the Buddies of the Week and the Buddy Site of the Month. We will be instituting a new Buddy recognition program in the very near future so stay tuned for details on that.

We hope that you understand why we needed to make these changes and approve of the end results. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have, feel free to email them to mhpcnuts@hotmail.com. M.H.P.C. is for everyone and while we know that we can't keep everyone happy all the time, we sure would like to do our best! *grin*
