Dear Karen,
don't worry, even when a specimen is "lost" is a lab, it does not mean it was not kept up .... usually there is mixup in coding or numbering of specimens, and it takes some tracking to pinpoint which one is your specimen.

Nevertheless, all the muscle biopsies are usually kept together, and they all are kept up as best as possible.

I would'nt worry too much. Just talk with your docotor and get the details... they may have some good news for you! :)
