Subject: HIBM

I'm 39 yrs old, male, persian, and Jewish. Several years ago ('91) I felt weakness in my left leg and arm, but not the right side. I saw many neurologists but they couldn't find anything wrong (MRI of barin, EMG, tests for MS, etc.) They found some atrophy in the upper and lower left leg and arm muscles, compared to the right side. No explanation could be found, and I've lived with it since, and haven't noticed a change. The right side is till fine, and the difference between leg/arm muscles between left and right are still the same. What should I do? Does this sound like HIBM? Is there a test to detemine if this is some form of HIBM?
Thanks.
