If im correct Tim also uses a triton. I not absolutly sure but i recall in a interveiw he said he he did. If its not A triton it is another keyboard though. I saw him use it on a MTV special. I got question too. I want a triton but dont wat to pay tha hefty price tag if u kow were i ca catch a barigain holla at ya boy

The interview was before the VMA's last year with Jamie Foxx hosting. Jamie Foxx performed a song with opera. MTV challenged the best producers in the game (JD Which sucks,P.Diddy, Timbo, and The Neptunes)using the long time favorite Carmen opera song.

just to let all y'all know, TImbo the Kid aka Timbaland aka Tim Mosley does in fact use a triton. But, he has a whole studio of toys to play with. Everythign from a yamaha a4000 HD sampler to an Akai MPC 2000xl, 3000le, and a 60II. He got and ASR 10 and an Asr pro x turbo, just lettin y'all know the real deal. I'm sure by now he's copped the mpc 4000 but he samples a hell of a lot, some of his drums are stacked drums, some ain't so keep an ear out extra far and play aroudn with some sounds, and you won't need to use all this. Hell, you may even be able to make some of his drums on Fruityloops...hahahhahahah

hip hop need a leader and i don't think timbaland will be the one .

The neptunes are hot right now . Are they hot enought?
The Neptunes are doing what timbaland can't do: radio beats
Timbaland has added variety to hip hop but he faild in expanding it.the '' future'' will have to bring Rock , Latin music ,ragga , Raggae,pop to hip hop.The neptunes are doing that but they have to think ''outside the box''.
Why you think the song that run dmc made with areosmith had such success? They mixed rock and rap in a beautiful way.
They added a hip hop vide to a mainly hardrock beat.
Swizz beat tryed with metalica but he fail because he did the inverse.

Can you imagine somebody who will mix classic music with hip hop right now witheout using sample machines?

Can you imagine a producer who is able to compose a beat
to express a feeling .
Can you imagine a hip hop producer going 10 platinum with a
instrumentals album.

Can you imagine a hip hop producer that can freestyle on piano like Mozart did when he was just a kid?

this person will be the tupac producer , doctor dre squared,
the future.

I am one of many who beleive that they can do that but what makes the difference between me and them is : dedication , hard work and sacrifice.

JD aight,dr. dre got skill, but yall sleepin on the neptunes/N.E.R.D,they killin the music industrie with there music. I think when JD said he was the best producer in the buisness he forgot about the NEPTUNES completey, COMPLETELY, all that cockyness aint gonna get him nowhere since timberland and neptune been puttin it down aint nobody been able to to drop they beats, thats all i have to say. oh yeah, and the song from jay-z's new album 'hovi baby is a good beat.

i signed it because i totally agree that non singing and non-good stage performers do not deserve to be compaired to aretha franklin. im sorry ashanti is ok but there is no way you can give some one who can't sing an arteha franklin award. theres just no way. alicia keys deserves it more simply because she can sing. mary j. blidge deserves it more because shes been out longer. aaliyah deserved it more because she was a good entertainer. Tim's new beats I think are better then the older ones sometimes less is more and if you listen to lickshots or opps, he left out the hihat's and stuff and it works that takes genius and invention. He don't always follow the typical beat pattern he invent's beat patterns and gives other producers like the Neptunes the chance to do something different (Grinding). He is the best producer to walk the face of this earth! some people just ain't ready for him.

I don't know I think he works pretty quick, Im a producer myself and know that you can't pluck original ideas out of thin air 6 times a day and he does whole albums for people like missy and dem and think about all the tracks that don't make the albums? what he does need to do is work with some big artist and start showing the Neptunes who's the best leftsided producer cause everybody knows that if he wanted to he could make the same style beats as Neptunes but 30 times better and take into consideration that there are 2 neptunes and only one Tim.

look man as a producer to another when you make tracks some that you make you may not want to put them all on one album some beats you might wait to put on the next album or a beat that you have already made you might want to remix or something. just keep making beats when an idea comes man don't worry about how fast the beats are comin aight. just keep on making them. timbaland making these tracks for a reason he'll use them maybe just not all on one album but different albums with different people.

i smelling you on that one but you need to understand that the neptunes sound is getting weaker. listen to the the drum patterns that the neptunes use and you will understand what i mean by that .Did you ever heard a slow beat from the neptunes all they do is fast beats. i'm not a hater but sometime you need to face the reality . The only thing Dre has on Tim is SENIORITY thats it. Eminem(protege') sells as much as he does, because of his sporadic(unique with no pattern) lyrics and scholarlistic dialogue! Dre makes extraordinary beats. But, can he make hits for anybody that he works with! Tim can(Justin Timberlake, No Doubt, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, N,Sync, Papa Roach) as well as a multitude of R&B&Rap artist!

hey everyone, i was thinking that the beat club artists' cd's are really dropping slowly (getting pushed back etc.) so why can't they get someone to promote their artists. When Ms jade comes out she should do good on the charts, but what about Sebastian? I think hes really good, his flow is great and he is tim's brother so you know hes talented, but nobody knows who he is so selling his albums will be a bit tougher. I still can't believe magoo can't get on anybody's album in the beat club. He needs to be on their cd's. I don't think Magoo knows how good he is. If anybody says that Magoo can't rap, i just say listen to "Whatcha Talk'n Bout on tim's bio number 9. that always shuts them up. all people can say is his voice is bad, but if you gotta make fun of his voice to diss him, then so be it. His lyrics are good and they aren't directed to 12 year old girls like Nelly's lyrics and Ja Rules's lyrics. They sell records because 12 year old girls rule MTV. It's sad, but True. When are people gonna see through the mirror. We need to showcase talent, not talk'n bout nothing and just directing your music to little girls cuz they will buy anything. It's pretty sad cuz Tim and his crew keep it real and dats y they are the best. You can say " o hes hating on dem" or don't hate cuz they making money", but i say you can't hate and no talent bums cuz u can't hate on stuff dat is bad!!!

I do agree that Tim needs better promotion of his albums, however, as much as I hate to say it, the artists on his label most of the time are sorry. Sebastian, Playa, Mocha, 1 Life 2 Live, and especially Magoo aren't any good at all. Bubba, Miss Jade, Gin, and Aaliyah are his best shots of promoting the label's albums, but sadly the rest just ain't cuttin it.

I have been spinning and mixing records/tapes for over 17 years, from when hip-hop become mainstream(RUN-DMC) to the birth of the "dirty south". I have lived in Ohio, Cali, and I now reside in Virginia Beach, Va.(For 2 years now). I have heard all the great producers of the game and this is how I rate them. The best true hip hop producer in the biz is DJ Premier. The true hip hop formula is sampled and recycled beats. And nobody does it better then Primo. And right behind him is the RZA. Docter Dre created the whole west coast sound and nobody can still come close to him after 15 years of doing his thang. But in my opinion,Timbaland is the best all around producer to ever bless the boards. Dre is good, no doubt, but can't cover the whole spectrum like Timbo. Hip hop hits, slow jam hits, R&B hits, Tim does it all. Look I live in Va beach, Va the mecca of Tim, Missy, Maggo, the Neptunes and Teddy Reily. And Timbo is like God around here. Hes has been the tightest producer for the past 6 years, hands down. And I really like the new sound he has. His sound is ground breaking and always has been.

i wonder if he comes on here...the reason i ask is there is no other site for as good as this except beat club.however i read all the topics and you guys are right but let me elaborate..timbaland is and has always been the best producer in the game...when 1 in a million came out all the producers ran for cover he has consistently changed with the times and continued to amaze us all with his boom da boom. timbaland is untouchable...we need a resoulution is one of the most diverse beats i have ever heard no one can challenge his throne dre doesnt even come close and the neptunes know hes the realest thats why they tring to do co production with him...any diff's in opinion post up...one

Well i have i have 4 beat club shirts, 2 of them are a bubba sparxx logo on the front with the beat club logo on the back. I have 2 of them one is orange the other one is white. i have another beat club shirt which is white and has the beat club logo on the front and it says ms jade and bubba sparxxx member since 2001. The last one i have is my favorite. remember in da holla back video when it switched to timbalands beat? well i got that aaliyah shirt. the back is great it has the beat club logo and an american flag. i also have a bubba sparxx hat. i also make beat club hats and shirts. i design them and them get a guy to screen the stuff onto shirts. Right nw i'm in the process of making a beat club hat like the neptunes hat. In response on where to get them, well Jess is right they are very difficult to find. And when you do find them they can be pricey. i paid $60 for my aaliyah shirt. i also have two petey pablo shirts which were a lot of money. i bought almost all of them on ebay. Good luck finding them though.

well i would def get into buying the timbaland clothing line. that would be great. The way i was getting the beat club shirts is from people who sell cd's and stuff and they get them from the promotions of the cd's. So hopefully they become more common. Everytime i see a beat club shirt i buy it. They are to rare. I'm going dwn into Philly to try 2 get a Timbaland shirt today cuz one of my friends heard they got dem down there. I hope you guys get some shirts cuz we need to help promote.

Tim def cares. the one thing tim needs to do more of is get Magoo in d mix. Magoo is a good rapper and he needs to be on more cd's that Tim is involved in. I got this song wit dj kool Magoo And sin called Back up out my way, and it's the first song magoo did where tim wasn't involved in. Tim did not do da beat, but it was still good. Tim is da man, i got beat club shirts, hats (even ones dat i made), and i even got da blackground entertainment charm around my neck.
Timbaland is music. Tim and da crew (playa, magoo, missy, ginuwine, sebastian, ms jade, bubba, and mad skillz) need to get 2gether and do the best cd of all time. Wut u guys think?

I don't know, I kinda think Magoo's voice is dope, its actually funny...it shows Timbaland's not all serious, he has fun with the shit...Like there's this one song on Indecent Proposal where everybody's tryin to sound hard and they've got the "what!?
