I walked down to the barn to start chores. "Mom could you give us lessons today?" asked William. "Sure. You are first." I replied. "Go tack up Maid To Order." "Ok." He came back 10 minutes later with her tacked up. We went to the ring and i said,"Well get on her." "But....but....but you know i dont ride." "Well i want you to try today." "But....but....but." "Get up there."i said firmly. he mounted and i put a lunge line on Maid. I asked her to walk in a circle around me and she did. Then i asked her for a trot i saw that Will got posting to her trot on the right diagonal and that he really knew how to ride. Then i asked her for a canter and she went forward and Will sat there as if there was nothing to it. Then after awhile i asked her for a walk and she went fine. I said, "WOW Will you really know how to ride. I dont know why you were so scared to ride again." "Thanks Mom. It was fun." He dismounted and walked her back to the barn. Then i went to find Jeff for his lesson........
