Emilt took Holly down to the barn. "Can Mini and I jump today?" Holly asked. "No, you have to wait til our next lesson. work on jumping positoon and your cantering." Emily replied. "Ok." Holly answered. Emily groomed Flick in his stall while holly groomed Mini in the alisle. "Mini is getting really hairy!" said Holly. "Yeah, and really cute!" said Emily. They tacked up their horses and led them out to the ring. They both mounted and walked around the ring.
Flick was now a 3 y/o gelding. He would soon begin training
over poles. holly trotted Mini around. Emily trotted Flick around too.The two girls' equitation was good, really good.
Flick passed Mini and kept trotting. Emily reversed on Flick. Holly circled and kept trotting. After a few mins, Emily walked so she could watch Holly canter. when holly was done cantering Emily asked Flick to canter. he was good and smooth. She did a simple change across the center of the ring and kept going. She let Flick walk. Holly and Mini trotted a bit more and then trotted over the line of Poles Courage and I had been trotting over. Holly stayed in jumping position the whole time over the poles. the girls finished off their rides by cooling out their horses. They then untacked them and grazed them abit. They put them away to finish their suppers and came to the house to eat their dinner.
