He helps Michelle tack up Dun and tacks up Jimmy, the beautiful chestnut quarter horse that Saddle was trying to sell into a show home. he and Michelle mount and walk their horse to the cross country course, then he and Michelle trot and canter circles to warm up. Mikki coaches Michelle over 18" fences for an hour, then takes Jimmy over a few 3'9 fences for schooling to refresh his memory. the gelding easily jumps over all the fences boldly. "This horse is going to make someone proud!" Mikki exclaims breathlessly to Michelle. "Yeah, he jumped those big fences so pretty" Michelle replies. Mikki smiles and they walk back to the barn, untack their horses and turn them out.
