They mounted up and started to walk around the arena. "Remember to keep your shoulders back Jess and Maggie get those heels down." I called out to them. They quickly fixed them. I told them to start to trot. Maggie picked up her diagonal right away. "Jess what diagonal are you on?" i asked her. She sheepishly muttered something about, "Oh whoops." She changed it and after a few laps I told them to do a sitting trot. They pretty much had that mastered. After that i told them to canter. They cantered for a few laps swaying easily to the horses' canters. After 2 laps i called them to the center. I told them that i wanted to see their hand gallops. I told Jess to go first. She did well. Then i asked Maggie to go. She did just as well. I told them to cool out their horses and then we would wrap up the lesson. Once they were done they went to get Michelle........
