I believe that 'Agent' Smith is the source to the whole matrix, when the 'One' meets the source the war will be over, ie: neo fights agent smith to decide the fate of the matrx. Zion isnt the real world , just another form of control , liek thematrix it is a world mad to governt the human race after they believe they have escaped the matrx.
