Wow.Thanks for the compliment, Trickster. I'm glad you found the post interesting.

Yeah, it's a confusing mix of cause/effect and choice. Personally, I'm not sure i know the difference between cause/effect and choice. Humans are both rational and impulsive. We often make decisions based on what the expected outcome(s) will be, and we also just act on impulse without thinking. (I'm not a very impulsive person.) Because we're rational, in that our decisions are governed by certain factors, the difference between choice and cause/effect becomes less distinguishable. It's nice to believe that we have a choice.
