I respect your opinion and beliefs. I do not think badly of you because of them. I do disagree, and here is why.

No matter how the universe came to exist, whether it was created by a god, or expanded from a singularity, the question "What came before that?" will always be valid. In my opinion, to claim that god made everything and we should not look further as to where that god came from is an anti-human response. Humans are curious and constantly seek out answers to every question. The stance that you have chosen is one which puts a ban on further questioning along many lines of human thought. That is against our nature, and can only lead to the stagnation and possible demise of the human race. As for how this fits into the discussion about the Matrix movies, I only hope that Neo does not turn out to be a REAL god, because then we are right back to predetermination and the banning of the question of where we came from, and we will find that we really have no choice in life.
