Subject: A review of Agent Smith and the Oracle

Let me appologize in advance for being stupid, retarded, or whatever you may think about my post. I just want to see if I am thinking correctly.

The Oracle:
The Oracle is a program who was working for the system during the first movie. Her job was something to the effect of spreading rumors of the prophecy to facilitate the finding and awakening of Neo. So, she lied to Morpheus about how the One would end the war. In fact, this was not a lie, just a mistruth. The One MIGHT end the war if he chose the door that led to the destruction of Humanity, after all, this WOULD end the war rather permanently, would it not?

At some point, the Oracle bacame a beleiver (in Neo), probably when Neo defied all predeterminism by saving Morpheus when the Oracle said there would be a choice between saving Morpheus or saving Neo, but not both. At that point, she chose exile rather than be deleted, and is now on the run, guarded by that dude, what's his name? So, the Oracle is now a supporter of Neo, and by default, of peace with Humanity.

Agent Smith:
Agent Smith was a program working for the system as a general policeman. He hated his job, hated humans and seemed to blame humans for his misery. When he was marked for deletion after his run in with Neo, he chose exile. He seems to have gained powers from his brush with Neo, powers that may yet equal Neo's. He appears to be the antithesis of Neo, and if we look at it in religious terms, Neo is akin to Jesus as agent Smith is unto Satan. Agent Smith seems bent on domination of the world (the Matrix, the real world, or maybe both.)

After watching the preview of Revolutions, my guess is that agent Smith will become the greatest threat of all, both to Humans and Machines, and Neo will face him to decide the fate of the world. What I find interesting is that agent Smith may be the penalty, in Biblical or Mythological terms, that Neo must pay for defying destiny and saving Morpheus. if that is the case, imagine the penalty he must pay for saving Trinity when the Architect himself proclaimed that it could not be done?

Perhaps Neo will vanquish agent Smith, only to die in the process, leaving the fate of Humanity up in the air, and leaving the plot open for the very lucrative online Matrix game to carry on...
