Subject: Let's settle this Matrix(Matrix) thing and get past it

I agree with Ender that many are jumping to the conclusion that Zion and the real world are still a part of the Matrix. No one can prove anything when you have writers who defy science (the human battery thing is IMPOSSIBLE, you cannot get more energy out of a closed system than the amount you put into it.) However, let me try to convince you of the possibility that the real world is real.

The machines are digging. If Zion was a part og the Matrix, why dig? Why not simply change the nature of the rocks around Zion and POOF! the walls collapse and no more Zion! Anyone who survived would probably assume that it was an accident, so the machines would not have revealed anything by this.

Likewise, any info that the machines wanted, such as the access codes for Zion which they tried to extract from Morpheus, they would have been able to get simply by searching through the Matrix code to find them.

Any programs that are exiles would surely have figured out about the next level of the Matrix and used back doors or something to investigate it.

If you agree that the Oracle really is on Neo's side now, then surely she would have said something to Neo about the true nature of the real world, or at the very least have visited or moved there to escape whomever she is hiding from.

Granted, this is just speculation, but to jump to the conclusion that Zion is fake, just because of one incident (Neo stopping the sentinels) is premature. It is unprovable until the next movie, so don't put all your bets on it now.
