Cory, you show an obvious ingrorance of the Bible if you think it is just a set of outdated rules. Study it, and then come back with some concrete reasons for rejecting it. To consider yourself educated you must study the most influential work in the history of the world don't you think? No other author you mentioned has written a work that has so greatly affected the course of human history, and don't be scared you just might like what you find.
